British singer Seal is an award-winning British pop singer, songwriter and philanthropist. He was born on February 19, 1963 in London, England, and holds triple citizenship of the United Kingdom, the United States and Nigeria. Seal's music career began in 1980 when he worked as a DJ in London.

His debut album, Seal, was released in 1991 and included his signature hit Kiss From a Rose. The song became a hit in 1994 and was nominated for multiple Grammy Awards. Seal has since released a number of successful albums, including Prayer, System, and Heavy. Known for his soulful voice and complex lyrics, Seal's music spans a variety of styles, including pop, R&B, soul and electronic music.

His songs, which often explore themes such as love, pain, faith and the meaning of life, are beloved by listeners. In addition to his music career, Seal is also active in philanthropy. He is a supporter of several charitable organizations, including Save the Children and the Children's Health Fund.
